The courts have some cracks but maintain sufficient surfaces for a pleasant game, with organizers ensuring quick rotation to minimize waiting time. Despite the occasional breeze or hot afternoon sun, the vibrant community spirit makes it an inviting spot to engage in friendly competition.

Description: Kailua Park Pickleball Courts offer several open basketball courts, with some tennis courts converted for pickleball use during our visit. Free parking was available and we heard sounds of a basketball game inside an adjacent gym, though we didn't enter to keep the atmosphere peaceful. The location provided ample space for players to enjoy their sport without any disturbance from other activities.

Description: Puna Pickleball Courts offer two courts conveniently situated right by the ocean, providing a smooth surface for players to enjoy. Regular play sessions are held from 3:30 PM until about 5:30 PM on Sundays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, with schedules available in the Facebook group. Bring your own net as no nets are provided at the courts.
